TierPoint Dallas (Allen)

TierPoint's Allen, Texas data center — marketed as "Dallas (Allen)" — sits at 820 Allen Commerce Parkway, about 40 km north of downtown Dallas and roughly 16 km from TierPoint's other Dallas-area building on Fort Worth's Independence Parkway. The operator states the facility is certified for design and construction by the Uptime Institute and is USGBC LEED-certified, one of only two TierPoint sites (with the Nashville-market building in Franklin, Tennessee) where the operator names a third-party Uptime certification rather than a self-described Tier level. The building totals 29,000+ sq ft, with 16,000+ sq ft of raised floor, and hosts a TierPoint multitenant cloud pod. Backup power comes from three generators — two 2 MW plus one 1 MW, about 5 MW combined — each with a minimum 48-hour runtime. TierPoint also lists SOC 1 Type II and SOC 2 Type II audits and ISO 27001 certification, plus HIPAA, PCI-DSS, GLBA and NIST SP 800-53 coverage.
