DataBank SLC6

SLC6 is the largest of six DataBank buildings at the Granite Point campus in Bluffdale, Utah, roughly 20 miles south of downtown Salt Lake City. At 22 MW critical IT load and 88,250 square feet, it edges out the next-largest campus building, SLC5 (10 MW, 49,180 sq ft), and anchors what is DataBank's biggest concentration of capacity in the Mountain West. The Granite Point cluster — SLC2 through SLC6, all sharing the same Pony Express Road corridor — sits apart from the operator's much smaller downtown Salt Lake City facility, SLC1, a 0.5 MW carrier-dense building in the city center. All six Salt Lake City facilities are covered by DataBank's regional FISMA, SSAE 18, HIPAA/HITECH, PCI DSS and ISO 27001 compliance program, though the operator does not break out which certifications apply building by building. SLC6 lists 38 onsite network carriers, matching every other Granite Point building, which suggests shared campus meet-me infrastructure rather than per-building fiber entry.
