CH1

CH1 is the largest building on Digital Realty's three-building Elk Grove Village campus, a 485,000-square-foot (about 45,050 sqm) single-story facility at 2200 Busse Road northwest of downtown Chicago. Alongside neighboring CH2 and CH3, the campus totals more than 1.1 million square feet and offers space ranging from shell suites to full private rooms for large wholesale deployments, with multiple carriers on site and lit-service connectivity back to Digital Realty's flagship 350 East Cermak building downtown. CH1 runs N+2 UPS redundancy with N+1 cooling-plant redundancy and a design PUE of 1.28, and Digital Realty reports the site running on 100% carbon-free energy even though direct renewable generation covers only 14% of that mix. Certifications cover SOC 1, SOC 2, SOC 3, PCI DSS and ISO 27001, plus an Energy Star rating for the building. Security follows Digital Realty's standard campus model of 24x7 onsite personnel, 90-day CCTV retention and biometric or photo-badge access control, serving a tenant base that Digital Realty says spans networking, cloud, enterprise and financial-services customers.
