CDC Maddington Campus

Maddington is CDC's first announced campus in Western Australia, positioned by the operator as a dedicated hub for sovereign, AI-ready infrastructure for government, research, defence, technology and critical-infrastructure customers in the state. CDC discloses over 200 MW of capacity on completion, describing the site as the largest AI and advanced-technology data centre campus planned for the region, and highlights its closed-loop cooling system — the same zero-water-consumption approach the operator has used since 2007 — alongside support for direct liquid-to-chip cooling for high-density AI workloads. The project has been publicly announced with capacity and design details but CDC's own site does not yet describe construction as under way, so it is tracked here as announced rather than under construction; no address, floor space or opening date has been published. Maddington would give CDC a presence in every mainland Australian state capital it currently serves — Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne and now Perth — plus Auckland in New Zealand, and falls under the operator's NVIDIA DGX-Ready Data Center certification, which already covers its Australian and New Zealand portfolio and backs more than 100 MW of AI-certified operational capacity company-wide.
