SYD1 is GreenSquareDC's flagship campus in Norwest Business Park, in Sydney's north-west, built through the adaptive reuse of an existing data centre building rather than ground-up construction. Stage 1 covers 15 MW of capacity across 2,400 sqm and is under construction, with operations targeted for the fourth quarter of 2026; the operator has already signed its first customer for the site, NVIDIA Cloud Partner Sharon AI, ahead of that opening. GreenSquareDC (which appears simply as "GreenSquare" in some 2026 press materials) has also secured backing from the New South Wales Investment Delivery Authority for a much larger Stage 2 expansion of around 80 MW, part of a plan to scale the campus toward more than 100 MW in total. Alongside its Melbourne site in Spotswood, Norwest is one of only two campuses in the company's current public portfolio, and it is the more advanced of the two toward commercial operation.
