Data Center of Delta Telecom Baku

Delta Telecom has operated Azerbaijan's principal international internet backbone since 2000 and states that it serves all ISPs in Azerbaijan and 78 percent of ISPs in the Caucasus, along with government agencies and banks. Its Baku data centre is one of the few facilities in the region with published Uptime Institute paperwork: the company announced that it had been awarded both TIER III Design and TIER III Facility certificates, and describes the site as fully redundant across power, cooling, security and network infrastructure, supporting a 99.982 percent availability figure for its cloud, hosting and corporate services. It is also unusual in the Caucasus for publishing a colocation rate card. The listed monthly prices are 30 AZN for 1U of server deployment and 700 AZN for a full rack, plus 76.27 AZN per kilowatt of server power consumption and 152.55 AZN per rack of server cooling energy, all before 18 percent VAT. The published terms include a required 1:10 ratio between incoming and generated traffic, with an extra charge per additional megabit per second above it, and optional extras such as additional IP addresses, extra power ports, 1 Gbps Ethernet, remote reboot and DNS support. Certificates listed by the company include ISO 9001, ISO 27001, ISO 22301, ISO 14001 and ISO 42001. Total IT load, floor area and rack inventory are not published.
