Equinix SP6 IBX

SP6 is the newest of Equinix's six IBX buildings in the São Paulo metropolitan cluster, opened on the Tamboré North campus in Santana de Parnaíba. Equinix markets it as its latest flagship site in the market, built for high-density colocation with what the company describes as advanced cooling and a targeted 100% renewable energy supply. The building offers direct access to IX.br, Brazil's national internet exchange system, positioning it as an interconnection point alongside the older SP4 IBX in the same metro cluster. Construction is a three-story precast-concrete building, protected by a double-interlock pre-action fire suppression system with aspirated (VESDA-type) detection. Power distribution runs at 240V/415V, with a minimum cabinet density of 6kVA and N+1 generator redundancy; the operator's public technical-specification sheet does not disclose UPS redundancy or overall facility power for this site. Cooling redundancy is rated N+20%. As with other recent Equinix builds, no total floor area or IT power capacity is published, and the site is described only through the technical fields and marketing copy Equinix makes available on its own location page.
