</a>HAM6 is one of two plusserver-owned data centers in Hamburg (alongside HAM5), part of the German cloud and hosting provider's four-site domestic footprint that also includes Cologne and Düsseldorf. Originally built in 2001 with aerated-concrete exterior walls, the building has been modernized in 2007, 2009, 2013, 2017 and 2021, and holds 1,200 m² of total technical area split into four server rooms of 120 m² each, with a stated capacity of about 6,600 servers. Cooling runs at 1,000 kW of N+1 capacity via circulating air units, while power is supplied through an in-house medium-voltage distribution board with 2 MVA of N+1 redundant capacity on a 10 kV ring connection, backed by 1,900 kW of N+1 emergency generation with a 9,000-liter day tank designed for 72 hours of autonomous supply. The UPS system is rated at 2 x 504 kW, 2(N+1) redundant. plusserver markets the site as ISO/IEC 27001-certified colocation with Tier-1 carrier connectivity from providers including Deutsche Telekom, Colt and Wilhelm.tel.
