IIJ Shiroi Data Center Campus is Internet Initiative Japan's multi-phase data center site in Shiroi City, Chiba Prefecture, part of the same Greater Tokyo data center corridor — near Inzai — where Colt DCS and MC Digital Realty also operate campuses already in this catalog. The full site covers roughly 40,000 sqm. Phase 1 opened in May 2019 with about 700 racks and 10 MW of capacity; Phase 2 followed in July 2023 with a further 1,100 racks and 10 MW, bringing operational capacity to roughly 20 MW combined. A third phase is planned for fiscal year 2026, adding about 1,000 racks and up to 25 MW with water-cooling readiness for high-density deployments. The campus holds JDCC Facility Standard Tier 3 certification (with some systems meeting Tier 4 criteria), FISC compliance for financial-sector workloads, and ISO 27001/14001 certification, with a disclosed average PUE around 1.3.
