Why prices sit where they do

Lithuania enters the index with nine recorded facilities, all in Vilnius and mostly built by three groups: Delska (three buildings, including Data Inn — the country's first Uptime Tier III Certified Constructed Facility, dating to 2014), the Baltneta Liepkalnis complex (two independently Tier III-certified buildings on one site), and Telecentras' state-linked VDC project (two more Tier III buildings open to commercial tenants). Telia Lietuva runs a Tier III facility of its own in Žirmūnai and has broken ground on what it calls the country's largest data center to date, on the Vilnius outskirts. Disclosed IT capacity stays modest — Delska's three sites alone add up to 6 MW — reflecting a market still small by regional standards. At $0.200/kWh, Lithuania's business power price sits close to Poland's, cheaper than Germany but above its Baltic neighbors. For now, Vilnius is the only city in the country with a documented commercial colocation presence.
