DC E-GOV Solnechniy (Unified E-Government Data Center)

This is the anchor facility of Uzbekistan's public-sector IT estate, built under the Digital Uzbekistan 2030 strategy and inaugurated by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on 27 August 2022 in the Zangiata district of Tashkent region. The presidential press service reports 580 servers, a storage system of 20 petabytes and diesel generators totalling 5 MW of standby capacity, alongside modern cooling and fire suppression; no IT load, rack count or floor area has been published, so the 5 MW figure should be read as generator capacity rather than sellable power. The build was executed jointly with Huawei. In Uptime Institute's public registry the operator, the state institution E-Government Project Management Center, appears with the facility DC E-GOV Solnechniy holding a Tier III Certification of Design Documents. The site is not a commercial colocation product: ministries and agencies migrate their systems into it rather than buy racks, and in October 2025 the government signalled that state bodies would be barred from keeping data on their own servers, concentrating public workloads here. Its relevance for the commercial market is indirect but real, since it sets the reliability benchmark that Uzbek regulators and state customers apply when assessing private operators.
