Why prices sit where they do
Armenia is a one-project market. Firebird's DC-1 in Hrazdan — 15 of the country's 17 recorded MW, liquid-cooled, 6,144 NVIDIA B200s, live since August 2026 — is what puts the country in this index at all. A second Firebird site is announced, but the operator states its capacity inconsistently across its own pages, so the catalog records none rather than pick a number. The only other facility is OVIO in Abovyan at 2 MW and 216 racks. Power at $0.122/kWh is mid-range regionally and unusually stable: regulated tariffs have not moved since February 2022, and generation leans on nuclear and hydro rather than gas, which is the basis of Firebird's own power argument. One caution on certification: OVIO markets itself as Armenia's certified Tier III facility, while the Uptime registry records a Design Documents award.
