FRA18 occupies Building 2 at Hanauer Landstrasse 360 in Frankfurt am Main, part of Digital Realty's expanding campus in the city's east alongside the older Hanauer Landstrasse buildings that came into the portfolio through the Interxion acquisition. At 266,000 square feet (about 24,700 sqm), it is the largest single facility Digital Realty discloses in the Frankfurt metro — well ahead of the Weismüllerstraße-campus buildings that make up most of the operator's older Frankfurt footprint. FRA18 runs N+1 UPS with N+1 cooling redundancy, a step down from the 2N configuration used on the older Weismüllerstraße buildings, and carries a different certification set: EN 50600, ISO 50001, ISO 27001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001, without the PCI-DSS, SOC 2 or ISO 22301 credentials the older buildings list. Digital Realty states the site runs on 100% renewable electricity and applies standard security — 24x7 onsite personnel, CCTV with 90-day backup, biometric or photo-badge access — but does not publish an IT power figure or year-built date. FRA18 is part of a newer expansion effort in Frankfurt that industry reporting has linked to a larger multi-building campus plan for the area, though that broader plan is not confirmed on Digital Realty's own facility page.
