firstcolo Werkhaus Data Center

firstcolo's Werkhaus data center occupies a facility at Kruppstrasse 105 in Frankfurt am Main, close to the DE-CIX internet exchange. The site is certified by TÜV Saarland as a Tier 3 highly available data center and offers capacity for around 1,000 racks, hosting approximately 16,000 server systems for firstcolo's colocation and dedicated-server customers. Infrastructure includes redundant UPS systems backed by an emergency generator and N+1 redundant cooling. The facility holds ISO 27001:2022 information-security and ISO 9001:2015 quality-management certification alongside its TÜV Tier 3 rating, and is part of firstcolo's two-site Frankfurt portfolio (together with the nearby AOC data center on Hanauer Landstrasse) that the company describes as close to fully utilised. firstcolo is majority-owned by CVC DIF as of August 2026, after acquiring the business from Cube Infrastructure Managers; the two Frankfurt sites underpin a planned third, larger greenfield campus in nearby Rosbach vor der Höhe.
