NorthC Frankfurt FRA01

NorthC began preparatory construction work in September 2026 on FRA01, a new 6 MW data center at Mainzer Landstraße 695 in western Frankfurt. The project adds a fourth Frankfurt-area site to NorthC's portfolio alongside the operational Frankfurt 3 facility and a separate Frankfurt 2 project planned for nearby Neu-Isenburg, continuing the operator's build-out of the German market it entered through acquisitions in 2022. NorthC has not published cooling technology, certification targets or investment figures for FRA01, and the company's public statements describe only the site address, the 6 MW design capacity and a first-phase go-live date of January 2028. Frankfurt remains continental Europe's largest colocation and interconnection hub, anchored by the DE-CIX internet exchange, and continues to draw new supply from both hyperscale and multi-tenant operators despite periodically tight grid-connection availability in the region; NorthC's FRA01 adds incremental multi-tenant capacity to that market rather than a hyperscale campus.
