Keppel DC Tokyo 1 is a freehold, purpose-built data centre in Tama City, about 45 km west of central Tokyo, that Keppel DC REIT added to its portfolio in the third quarter of 2024 by acquiring a building completed in 2019. As a multi-storey hyperscale facility built on Japanese soil, it incorporates seismic base isolation and other earthquake-resilience measures that the REIT describes as "stringent seismic design standards," without naming a specific third-party structural certification. Secondary coverage of the acquisition cited a net lettable area of roughly 190,166 sq ft, though that figure is not confirmed on the REIT's own portfolio page and should be treated as indicative rather than verified. Keppel does not publish IT load, cooling architecture or tenant details for the building.
