STT Tokyo 1 is ST Telemedia Global Data Centres' first Japan facility, launched in June 2025 inside Goodman Business Park in Inzai City, Chiba Prefecture — part of the Greater Tokyo satellite-town cluster that also hosts large campuses from Equinix, NTT and AirTrunk. The building offers more than 32 MW of IT capacity across 60,000 sqm of gross floor area, with room to grow to up to 70 MW once a second building on the same campus is completed; that second building has not yet been named or detailed on the operator's own site. Power comes through a dual 66kV utility feed, backed by an on-site behind-the-meter solar array, and STT GDC targets a PUE below 1.25 with carbon-neutral Scope 1 and 2 operations from day one. The site achieved TIA-942-C design certification in 2024 ahead of launch and added LEED Gold certification in August 2026. As STT GDC's market entry into Japan, it establishes the operator in one of Asia's most competitive hyperscale hubs, going head-to-head with established players on the same Inzai/Chiba corridor.
