</a>M-Vault 1 is MEEZA's founding data centre, opened in March 2009 inside Qatar Science & Technology Park (QSTP) in Doha, where the company itself is headquartered. Qatari trade press covering the launch described it as the country's first data centre built to Tier III specifications, offering managed storage, network, security and disaster-recovery services; early anchor clients included Vodafone Qatar and Masraf Al Rayan. M-Vault 1 predates MEEZA's later, more heavily marketed buildings — M-Vault 2, 3 and 5 — which the operator's own certifications page lists as its three Uptime Institute Tier III-certified sites, and M-Vault 1 is not among them in that current listing. It remains part of the operational M-Vault campus that MEEZA expanded to five buildings and roughly 24.4 MW of combined capacity by its 2023 IPO, about half of Qatar's total data centre capacity at the time.
