GigaCenter is the colocation arm of the Kyiv telecom group GIGAGROUP and has been in service since 4 April 2014. The operator publishes a facility area of 1,200 sqm, a maximum power figure of 1 MW and a per-rack limit of 11 kW. Grid supply comes through two transformer stations with a combined capacity of 4 MW on two independent inputs from the city network, and three diesel generators rated at 1.2 MW in total cover a full loss of utility power. Cooling is handled by 14 external air-conditioning units with N+1 redundancy and humidity control, and fire protection combines a central control panel, detectors in every room and gas suppression. The general module holds 50 racks and colocation is sold from 1U through half racks (23U) and full racks (46U) up to individual and shielded modules; shielded space blocks radio signals and adds separate alarms and video monitoring. Connectivity is a core selling point: more than 12 carriers are present, with independent trunks to UA-IX and GIGANET and direct L1 switching to operators, delivered through two commutation rooms more than 20 metres apart. The operator states the infrastructure is built to TIER III requirements and TIA-942 and is recertified annually to ISO/IEC 27001 and PCI DSS; it also holds ISO 9001:2015 and a state attestation of conformity for the data center's information and communication system. SLA is 99.982% with financial compensation.
