Why prices sit where they do

London holds the British market almost entirely: 12 of the 17 UK facilities in the catalog and 219 of the country's 282 MW are in the metro, which leaves very little domestic alternative to price against. LINX anchors the demand, making this the interconnection point for the British Isles and the European end of the transatlantic route, 78 ms to Northern Virginia, 11 ms to Amsterdam and 16 ms to Frankfurt. The scarce product inside the metro is not floor space but power density: one of the twelve sites is flagged AI-ready, one carries a Tier III or IV designation, and two are still in the pipeline. Negotiate the density ceiling rather than the footprint, which means the kW available per rack written into the contract and a stated price for a later uplift. A hall that cannot take the racks you deploy in year two is not the saving it looks like.
